How much does running Snapchat ads cost?

When will I be charged for the Snapchat ad?

Snapchat charges per 1,000 impressions (CPM), but offers goal-based bidding. Goal-based bidding allows the advertiser to set up a maximum price for each time a viewer performs the action the ad is optimized for.

What Snapchat reporting is available?

Impressions, paid reach, clicks, CTR, swipes, quartile video views: 25%, 50%, 75%, and 97%, 2-second views, 15-second views, average watch time. Please see a sample report here.

Is reporting for engagements (likes and shares) available?

Not at this time.

How long should Snapchat video ads be?

Snapchat ads can be between 3 - 180 seconds long. Though they can be up to 3 minutes long, they are most effective when they are 3 - 5 seconds long.

What is not allowed to be advertised on Snapchat?

In accordance with Snapchat’s advertising policies, ads that have tobacco/smoking, drug-related products/services, alcohol, political ads, police and military equipment, weapons, gambling, counterfeit goods, sexual products/services, hate speech, products or services that enable dishonest behavior will not be accepted.

How long does it take for a Snapchat campaign to go live?

The turnaround time for a campaign to go live once we’ve received all assets is approximately 5-7 business days. Creative approval from Snapchat takes at least 24 hrs.

How should I submit a creative?
