BRIDGE Connected TV/OTT Overview
Learn the basics of CTV and OTT
Connected TV (CTV) refers to televisions that stream video content over the internet. Such as smart TVs, and devices connected to TVs (Roku stick, Apple TV, etc).
CTV ads appear alongside apps and channels that display the user’s favorite content.
Over-the-top media (OTT) is the content streamed to any internet-enabled device. Examples include Hulu, Amazon, and videos from online publishers.
How they differ:
CTV is consumed on a TV device and that only. OTT content can be consumed on any of the owner’s devices and NOT just TV.
